Truth is, we live in a dog-eat-dog world and not being able to ‘wham bam thank you Mdm’ really does one no good, especially at my age. (no pun intended.) It is frustrating and more often than not discouraging when you don’t reap what you sow.

As much as you are willing to try again, people don’t have much time and patience to spare. Remember? Time = Money = Success.

‘One day, the tortoise will surpass the hare.’ they say; but I believe not every hare gets complacent. Ultimately, the prize will still go to Mr. Humble Hare, regardless of how persistent and discipline Mr. Tortoise is. The world celebrates and glorifies Mr. Hare for his ‘achievement’ while Mr. Tortoise comes no where close, alone.

It takes a lot of humility and courage as a slow learner. a friend of mine once had this as his nickname,

‘I am a slow walker, but at least I don’t stand still. Will you walk with me?’
