surreal

for a couple of days, i get to escape the rat race. as i slip into a state of surrealism, i sometimes wish i'll never have to return to the dog-eat-dog world.

/ i wake up 1000 in the morning with the warm sunlight embracing my skin and to the sound of kindergarden children reciting nursery rhymes. i make my way to the coffeeshop and indulge myself with a traditional kaya toast set. a mere $1.80 - i am treated to a cup of aromatic coffee, freshly toasted kaya toast and 2 sunshine looking half boiled eggs. i choose a table by the road, slowly sipping my coffee while watching the birds, listening to coffeeshop talk on elections and price hikes, breathe in fresh air and think about life.

good morning.

/ the rest of the day

i read a good book on why 'The World is Flat'
work out like a celebrity at FitnessFirst gym at Paragon
listen to Damien Rice.Corrinne May.or set my iPod to random mode
go out with like-minded people for a swim.steam bath.karaoke.shopping.whatever
help the juniors at college with debates
dream big dreams

just taking time listening, watching, breathing, thinking and doing.
this is life.
