I found myself at the movie theatre last night catching L: Change the World despite its 2-star ratings. This is quite rare for one who strives to catch only the best of motion pictures to attain maximum satisfaction out of this whole costly pursuit. I must say I was pleasantly pleased.
L appealed to the dying Superhero in me, the innate desire to want to save the world, start a revolution and initiate a change despite all my imperfections and inadequacies. L is such, human as can be. Small in physique, pale, weak, sometimes weird, spotting an unforgiving hunch on his back and a sweet tooth. Yet in his last moments, he stood selfless in saving the world, and save the world he did.
Suffice to say, there can be perfection in imperfection.
